MANIAFOLY Show – Once Upon a Christmas

7 Nov

Salle Roger Ollivier, 13 Rue du Stade, 22190 Plérin

These two performances are being organised in aid of our Symbiose Symbiose Association, to support our work and fund supportive care for women affected by cancer. Show synopsis: ‘Loneliness’ – this defining feature of our modern world – is set to be turned on its head, for one evening, by a whole family who decide to celebrate Christmas with Aunt Cunégonde. The show takes the form of a musical that blends Christmas carols with pop-rock hits. This mix immerses the audience in a cheerful and dynamic world, where they will be invited, if they wish, to join in the singing – all for their greatest enjoyment. An elderly lady is set to spend Christmas alone in front of her telly yet again, but she hasn’t reckoned with her large family turning up unannounced. They’ll turn Auntie Cunégonde’s routine upside down, giving her a Christmas she won’t forget in a hurry.
