Children’s show in Cajarc: Trait(s)

17 Mar

salle des fêtes, 9 Rue du Couvent, 46160 Cajarc

A colourful dialogue between the circus and the visual arts. Inspired by the works of Joan Miró and Wassily Kandinsky, *Trait(s)* uses the circle to explore the circus. Drenched in paint, a circus artist and her Cyr wheel perform on a white sheet of paper where shapes and colours unfold, take shape and are drawn by movement. Accompanied by a musician playing the trombone and sousaphone, the music emphasises and accentuates the circus movements in bursts of freedom. A visual and musical experiment where art is the medium.
