A meal for the soldiers

14 Oct – 11 Nov

Garrosse - Cour de l'école, 40110 Morcenx-la-Nouvelle

What if we brought our ancestors’ memories back to life together? Do you have any photographs, objects, letters or other mementos dating from the two world wars? To mark 11 November, the ‘Vivre à Garrosse’ collective invites you to share these precious memories of your parents and grandparents, who lived through these periods of our history. For one day, these treasures from the past will be on display under the school porch, to pass on the memory and bring to life the stories of those who came before us. Please feel free to bring them along from 9 November. And to extend this moment of sharing, we’d like to invite you to join us for lunch, where ‘everyone brings their own food’: we’ll be sharing much more than just lunch… our memories and anecdotes! Open to all!
