9 Rue Jeanne Jugan, Eglise Sainte-Croix, 35400 Saint-Malo
Featuring the British soprano Madeline Claire de Berrié, the Ensemble Baroque de Rennes presents a gentle, snow-filled programme. Whilst nature has fallen asleep for the winter, the music brings a glimmer to life – whether calm or brilliant, it is always moving. This concert offers the chance to share a tender and warm moment of listening and emotion, amongst friends, with family, and with our neighbours… The five musicians will perform great lyrical arias such as Vivaldi’s ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘Domine Deus’. They will also perform great classical works, amongst which Christmas carols from around the world will ring out joyfully. Works by C. Merula, C. Graupner, C. Gounod/J.S. Bach, I.F. Biber, A.
