PLAGE DES ARESQUIERS
Accès n°27, Lieu dit Saint Eugène, 34110 Vic-la-Gardiole
Aresquiers Beach in Frontignan is the easternmost beach in the seaside resort. This beach is also situated in the municipality of Vic-la-Gardiole (the north-eastern part). The south-western section is lifeguard-supervised during the summer (along the beach road – several large car parks). The northern section is wilder and features areas reserved for naturists (see the map – parking is more difficult in summer). However, the beach in this area is very narrow and consists mainly of pebbles (see the photos). The section closest to Frontignan is sandy, with several car parks providing easy access. This is the most pleasant area, with sand and dunes. Please note that access is via steps (not suitable for people with reduced mobility). At the far end, before crossing the bridge over the Rhône-à-Sète Canal, there is a small car park providing access to a more unspoilt beach. Depending on the spot, you’ll find pebbles on the upper part of the beach. However, this area is predominantly naturist (except near the holiday centre). Lifeguard station open from 28 June to 31 August inclusive, from 11.00 to 18.30. Toilets available from late April to late September Accessibility: - Access point no. 27 - 10 disabled parking spaces - Accessible toilet - Tactile paving - Tiralo at the lifeguard station
