“I sculpt and shape clay with passion, seeking to evoke emotions. My creations take shape through the interplay between the clay and my inspiration. In each of my two worlds – the feminine and the sculptures that surround us – the choice of finish allows me to play with the material.”

I sculpt and shape clay with passion, seeking to evoke emotions. My creations take shape through the interplay between stoneware and my inspiration. In each of my two worlds – the feminine and the world around us – the choice of finish allows me to play with the material; the surprise of letting go during raku firings or smoke-firing, the purity of the lines achieved through the pearly whiteness of polished surfaces, the raw colours of high-temperature stoneware, or the nuances created by mixed media techniques such as inks, patina or acrylics
