Guinea pigs

5 Dec

Gare du Midi, 23 Avenue du Maréchal Foch, 64200 Biarritz

A social and absurd comedy about our society, driven by bureaucracy and rules. A Kafkaesque nightmare that begins in the most mundane way imaginable: a man walks into his bank to withdraw some money… The humour of an unrealistic situation devised by Sébastien THIÉRY, featuring Arnaud DUCRET at the very peak of his form and artistry! Alain KRAFT, a bourgeois man of humble origins, comes to make a cash withdrawal at his bank. But the bank’s new Indian management has frozen his account and refuses to let him leave, accusing him of breaking the law by becoming wealthy and ‘changing caste’. Caught between administrative absurdity and class struggle, his day turns into a nightmare… a highly regimented one. A subtle, biting and utterly hilarious comedy!
