1 Rue Jeanne d'Arc, 36000 Châteauroux
A performance in which voices, sounds and archive footage intertwine to explore memory, the passage of time and the fear of being forgotten. VIVACES tells the story of the interplay between two women, two lives, two generations. It is an ode to life, to those left behind, and to what we leave behind.
VIVACES is the result of six years of immersive work in care homes (in the Indre and Loir-et-Cher departments). Louise Cazy wanted to engage with older people and create a production that celebrates the passing on of knowledge between generations. She enlisted Azilys Tanneau, a writer from Castelroussin, to write this production, which combines theatre, dance and screenings of archive footage preserved by Ciclic. Suitable for ages 10 and over. Writer: Azilys Tanneau Direction and choreography: Louise Cazy Performers: Louise Cazy and Corinne Lancement A production by the Collectif Mondo.
