Hidden in his lavender bush, Cyrano smelled of fresh laundry – Automnales #12 – Labenne Cultural Season 2026–2027

12 Mar

Salle des Fêtes, 40530 Labenne

Cyrano is the unusual tale of a hero in the shadows, set apart from others by his prominent nose, driven by love, courage and great generosity. Cyrano is in love with his beloved cousin Roxanne, as beautiful and enchanting as a poppy flower. She is the sweet poison that captivates men’s hearts. However, the sweet Roxanne has eyes only for Christian, the perfect Prince Charming: handsome but inevitably foolish and naïve. As in Edmond Rostand’s play, love—a feeling both delightful and painful—lies at the heart of the plot.
