St Cecilia’s Concert

29 Nov

Espace Malraux, 28200 Châteaudun

For its annual event, the Châteaudun Wind Band is hosting the Vendôme Municipal Wind Band. A true institution in Vendôme’s cultural life, this ensemble brings the local area to life with the rhythms of choral music.

This intergenerational orchestra brings together passionate musicians – knowledgeable amateurs, advanced students and teachers from the École de Musique Territoires Vendômois – all united by the joy of playing and progressing together. It explores an eclectic repertoire that is accessible to all. Under the baton of its conductor, Rodolphe GENESTA-PIALAT, the ensemble moves with equal vigour between the great classics, film scores, jazz, traditional music and original pieces written for concert band.
