Autumn is a photographer’s paradise in Deauville with the Planches Contact Festival. Based around an artist-in-residence programme, the festival invites photographers from all over the world to offer a fresh perspective on Normandy. For its 17th edition, marking the bicentenary of photography, the festival explores ‘Generations’, a theme that spans family histories, the passing down of traditions, youth, local areas and the major upheavals of our time.
