How are young girls subjected to all manner of restrictions on how they dress? Why do young people use insults when speaking to one another? What is life like for women whose husbands forbid them from leaving the house? How can colleagues recognise and report a victim? This play is intended as a tool for preventing violence of any kind. This project came about following the performances of *Le Dernier plaisir de Rose* at the Théâtre d’Autun in November and December 2022. Annette Perrault, head of the VIF network in Autun, proposed an original workshop to the Compagnie du Bonheur Vert. A small group of Autun residents committed to combating violence shared their stories with Gaëlle About and Jean-Louis Terrangle. Following these discussions, which took the form of anecdotes and personal accounts, Jean-Louis Terrangle wrote a series of short sketches that make up *Couleurs de femmes*.
