Parmi les constructions formant le hameau de Ticaille, autour de l'écluse, se trouvent une briqueterie qui contribua à bon nombre d'ouvrages d'art du canal ainsi qu'un moulin, construit en 1831 par l'un des successeurs de Riquet.
