A unique pairing of cheeses and Grand Crus from the Kaysersberg Valley, to be discovered in the MEYER-KRUMB family’s private wine cellar…
Fancy treating your taste buds? This ‘Parenthèse Vigneronne’ is just the thing for you! What products best characterise France more than wine and cheese? Let’s dispel the myths – cheese isn’t just for red wine. In Sigolsheim (Kaysersberg-Vignoble), the Meyer-Krumb family invites you to discover the perfect pairings between Alsatian white wines and local cheeses – a real treat for your taste buds! Aurélie, a winemaker’s daughter, in partnership with a farmer from Fréland, is now an expert on Munster and other hard cheeses. Following a tour of the cellars, she will serve you her Grand Cru wines, paired with tommes from our mountains, in the intimate setting of the family wine cellar. She has skilfully created a subtle balance between her estate-aged wines and the cheeses of the Kaysersberg valley. Gewurztraminer and Riesling, paired with the cheeses, will dazzle both novice tasters and the most discerning palates with an explosive combination of flavours on the palate. Booking required.
