Purpose of the association

To bring together all parents of pupils at state schools in Morières-lès-Avignon; to formulate, on their behalf, proposalson any matter concerning the moral and material interests of the schools, the pupils attending them or their parents; to monitor the implementation of these proposals and ensure they are applied. To collect, present or publish, for the benefit of families, any documentation relating to education and academic and career prospects. To promote and defend the secular ideal. To promote and establish a national public service providing free, high-quality education and initial training for every young person, regardless of their social, cultural, religious or philosophical background. This national service must respect all schools of thought without favouring any one in particular, and be committed to enabling every pupil to achieve the fullest possible personal development and the best possible prospects for social integration. And, more generally, to initiate and pursue all actions capable of developing its role as a movement for lifelong learning for families. To enhance the reputation of schools and public education
