Association pour la Protection de l'Environnement du Val d'Enfer

Purpose of the association

The Val d’Enfer Environmental Protection Association aims to promote all initiatives designed to protect the natural and built environment of the Val d’Enfer in Hardelot. To this end, it undertakes all necessary actions to safeguard and promote the quality of life of local residents. It facilitates the exchange of information amongst its members and may seek advice from external experts. It acts as a source of proposals for public and private decision-makers; it ensures compliance with the specifications, in particular those for the Val d’Enfer dated 1 July 1929; and it reserves the right to enforce and render enforceable, including through legal proceedings, these specifications against any project or initiative that contravenes them. Within the association, it upholds the spirit of courtesy and mutual respect that neighbours owe one another
