To encourage voluntary pupils to take part in physical and sporting activities with a view to integrating sport – as a cultural phenomenon – into their education, through an understanding of its nature, its officially recognised characteristics, the diversity of its forms and the conditions under which it is practised; to enable pupils to learn about community life by taking on responsibilities and by involving them in the organisation of the association’s activities
