Purpose of the association

To preserve or enhance the natural, human, heritage and cultural assets of Beaugency and the surrounding municipalities, and to support the development of economic activities that respect these assets and give priority to the use of existing premises or land that has already been developed, whether for rent, for sale, vacant, damaged or abandoned; to collectively defend Beaugency and the surrounding municipalities against any projects or situations that jeopardise the protection and preservation of public health, the environment, the quality of life, the well-being of its residents, its resources, and its agricultural and tourist character; its activities are, in effect, extended to all municipalities and local authorities affected by this or these future projects; the association is entirely independent of any political or quasi-political movement; the association considers that this or these projects must include a democratic dimension
