Purpose of the association

The association’s aims are: to promote sustainable development and environmental conservation through the socially responsible reuse of objects by means of careful collection, sorting, recovery, refurbishment, repurposing and artisanal or artistic transformation; to raise awareness of these issues amongst the general public (children, young people and adults) by organising workshops, activities and any other type of event, as part of a programme of community education and environmental education; to contribute to social cohesion and the fight against social and economic exclusion and inequality, in particular through low-price sales, the donation of items, and the creation of jobs; to facilitate interaction between stakeholders in the reuse sector, artists, professional and amateur creators, and the general public; it frames its work within a framework of public interest, by being open to all sections of the public, particularly the most vulnerable, whilst ensuring that its activities remain non-profit-making, secular and apolitical; in all circumstances, the association guarantees democratic and transparent operation and upholds its non-profit-making nature
