To inspire alternative paths and imagine new narratives so that we can collectively contribute to building a society that is conscious, civic-minded, based on solidarity and integrated with the natural world within the Grand Lieu region; The activities of Les Grandlieu’zarts are rooted in the values of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) and organised into four areas: - Coordination and running of a shared space, ‘Le Grand Lieu du Conte’: welcoming people, sharing and working together in a space open to local residents, based on a participatory approach that fosters social cohesion; - storytelling, art and culture cluster: promoting new talent, fostering solidarity amongst artists, supporting creative work, championing cultural diversity and promoting access to culture for all; - ecological transition cluster: raising awareness, educating and providing training on the ecological transition; - Laboratory and Emergence Centre: to initiate, support and promote local collective actions that create shared value; founded on the principles of solidarity and collective benefit, the association adopts innovative, democratic and participatory management approaches
