Les Colibris de Saint-Rambert

Purpose of the association

To support, promote and implement, within Saint-Rambert-d’Albon and the surrounding area, an ecological, inclusive, resilient and positive transition; this forms part of the international Transition Towns movement, which calls for a reorientation of our lifestyles in the face of environmental, social and economic challenges linked to resource scarcity, climate change and the growing fragility of the global economic system; to develop a local, ethical, circular and accessible economy, so that the town and its surroundings can gradually become self-sufficient in the areas of food, crafts, energy and transport; restore the place of living nature at the heart of the municipality by protecting biodiversity, creating urban and food-producing forests, and rebuilding a robust local ecosystem capable of adapting to future environmental challenges whilst protecting residents as well as local flora and fauna; strengthen the bonds between residents and work to make the municipality a more pleasant, vibrant and people-centred place
