Following its restoration in 2020–2021, the aim is to showcase this engineering structure, which is listed as a historic monument, by improving its surroundings, thereby helping to enhance the town’s entrance; to restore the Caroual stop; to facilitate access for walkers and cyclists along the former railway line by creating a greenway; to protect the engineering structures designed by Louis Harel de la Noé located within the municipality of Erquy; to carry out various research projects, such as at the departmental archives, for example; to publicise the engineering structure in various ways and to contribute to the preservation of the memory of its builder, Louis Harel de la Noé, as well as that of the ‘little train’ which ran on the line
