Amicale des Marins Marins Anciens Combattants de Lisieux Ouistreham Honfleur (Aammac de Lisieux-Ouistreham-Honfleur)

Purpose of the association

To bring together former sailors from the Royal Navy, as well as from the merchant navy, the fishing fleet and recreational boating, in order to preserve the spirit of camaraderie amongst seafarers – hence FAMMAC’s motto, ‘united as on board’; the AMMAC, as an association of former military personnel, contributes to the duty to remember by taking part in patriotic ceremonies organised in Lisieux, Normandy, as well as in the FAMMAC’s national commemorations; to raise awareness of the Navy amongst younger generations by inspiring them to join the Royal Navy, either through a PMM (Naval Military Preparation) programme or via one of the Navy’s training centres.
