Defense et Sauvegarde du Vallon de Chevrier des Baux de Provence

Purpose of the association

To defend and safeguard the Vallon du Chevrier in Les Baux-de-Provence; to defend its residents, their general interests and their quality of life; to ensure that urban development safeguards residents’ safety and their living environment; to represent and defend the residents’ heritage and moral interests by all legal means, including legal proceedings; to alert, inform and warn of the risks associated with increased urbanisation, population growth and traffic, which could render access, service provision and evacuation capacities incompatible for residents, walkers and cyclists passing through the neighbourhood; to contribute to the drafting of the Local Urban Development Plan (PLU) and any applications for a designation that may include the Chevrier neighbourhood (e.g. ‘site of outstanding heritage’); to take action to maintain, improve and ensure the safety of all existing and future public infrastructure on the site for the well-being of all residents
