La Villarelle-Lou Savel

Purpose of the association

To contribute to the continuation and development of initiatives in the following areas: promoting the economic, heritage and social assets of the municipality of Villars-sur-Var within the framework of rural eco-development; revitalising agricultural traditions by supporting natural, organic and permaculture practices; protecting the environment as part of the ‘ecological transition’ by countering the long-standing trend towards land sealing; promoting and engaging in ‘circular economy’ practices: green waste management, recycling of used products, etc.; support initiatives for jobs in the social and environmental sectors, particularly for young people; concrete actions in these areas will be organised by the association alone or in partnership with other associations or organisations pursuing similar aims, as well as with public authorities and funding bodies; these initiatives concern Villars-sur-Var and its surrounding area, in the broadest possible sense and without any discrimination, in particular on political, religious or racial grounds
