Cercle de Recherche Art et Design Preaux

Purpose of the association

To organise events: exhibitions, conferences and discussion forums focusing on contemporary artistic practices, environmental and societal themes, and narratives exploring new imaginaries; as well as residencies and meetings involving theorists, art historians, sociologists, exhibition curators, students and artists; ultimately, the aim is to establish an organisation to support projects in rural areas and to join an existing network in the Hauts-de-France region and neighbouring regions in order to share resources and equipment; to establish a research group and a dedicated space for exploring the intersections between art, design and related disciplines such as the humanities and technology
