Diaboli Arma ou les Tres Riches Heures de l'Arbalestrie
Toussieux
Purpose of the association
To introduce people to medieval history through educational activities aimed at visitors to village festivals as well as at primary and secondary school pupils; The association’s unique selling point lies in its activities, which are primarily centred on the presentation of the crossbow and its historical development: the main historical period of focus is the ‘Late Middle Ages’, the golden age of the crossbow as a weapon of war in Europe, and particularly within the French armies.
